Mission

Echoing Soundz conceptualized and implemented a direct plan of action to host the official red carpet premiere of the highly anticipated feature film Sister Code on May 7, 2015. The indie film features Amber Rose, Eva Marcille, Drew Sidora, Marcus Paulk and more. The film premiere consisted of a star-studded red carpet with media from all major entertainment blogs and media outlets, and a private screening of the film, at the AMC Universal City Theater.

Requirements

  • Create social media awareness and anticipation of the Sister Code film premiere and release
  • Secure media (news outlets, photographers, videographers) to cover the event
  • Generate list of strategic guests to invite to attend including industry executives, tastemakers, celebrity talent, Hollywood socialites and more.
  • Provide On-Site red carpet and event management as well as publicity support

ES Solution

With major leading ladies in the film including Amber Rose, Eva Marcille and Drew Sidora, Echoing Soundz knew they would need to capitalize on the social media impact each star has on Instagram and Twitter. By creating an in depth social media campaign leading up to the film premiere, Echoing Soundz assisted in drumming up intense anticipation of the film while focusing on showcasing each character the leading ladies played in the film. By focusing on women’s empowerment and embracing women of all different walks of life, Echoing Soundz was able to establish a positive theme that paralleled the film’s messaging, thus garnering national attention and coverage at the film’s premiere event.

Results

Echoing Soundz secured a significant amount of press for the event including media outlets the likes of Perez Hilton, Daily Mail, OK! Magazine, Centric TV, Bossip, Hip Hollywood, WireImage, The Jasmine Brand and more. Echoing Soundz successfully assisted in securing a preminum private screening theater for the film’s cast and crew, special guests, industry tastemakers, and celebrities to watch the film. The Echoing Soundz team envisioned and implemented a “purple carpet” instead of a red carpet, with a celebrity guest list including Rosa Acosta, Tony Rock, Erica Mena, Masika Kalysha (Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood), The Sachika Twins, Rich Dollaz (Love & Hip Hop), Moniece Slaughter (Love & Hip Hop: LA), Mally Mall, Duane Martin and more.
