This extravagant event blends the playful spirit of ComicCon with the glitz and glamor of an upscale red carpet event, with the theme of Oakanda: From East Oakland to West Africa. As FAB expressed recently about his many community achievements, “Just a kid from the Northside of Oakland living his dreams…my mother used to work three jobs and hustle on the side to provide…Follow your dreams people, they come true. You don’t believe it just look at me.”
