The L.A. non-profit hosted a successful Game Night Fundraiser commemorating a milestone of serving over 50,000 homeless and disadvantaged
LOS ANGELES, CA (Nov. 11, 2014) — Los Angeles-based non-profit My Friend’s House Foundation received overwhelming support from over 100 guests Mondaynight at its 6th Year Anniversary Game Night Fundraiser. The star-studded event, hosted by Actor/Comedian Guy Torry and Fox Sports/Entertainment TV Personality Mike Hill, took place inside Rain Nightclub in Studio City. The packed house included appearances by Jill Scott, actor Ernest Thomas, actress Jen Morillo, Los Angeles Artist Melo Kan and the foundation’s Founder Tiffany A. Rose.
Guests enjoyed games, a mouth-watering sweets station, and raffle prizes, while celebrity DJ Teck and SCETCH (The Specialist) spun the musical soundtrack of the night. A highlight of the event was a silent auction featuring the original boxing gloves from Maidana vs. Khan, Pacquiao vs. Hatton, and Trout vs. Cotto matches.
The successful celebration commemorates the organization’s six years of giving back to those less fortunate in Los Angeles and serving over 50,000 disadvantaged men, women, children, seniors and families in downtown’s infamous Skid Row community and surrounding areas.
