The cast dished on the new film in an exclusive Q&A with Access Hollywood Live Host Nina Parker
HOLLYWOOD, CA (May 1, 2015) – The stars of the highly anticipated new film Sister Code gathered in Hollywood for an exclusive Reveal Screening with entertainment executives, tastemakers and media, inside TCL Chinese Theaters at Hollywood and Highland. The film’s stars Eva Marcille, Drew Sidora and Marcus Paulk were joined by the cast and crew including Doug Christie who was accompanied by his wife Jackie Christie, actor Amin Joseph, Executive Producers Don Hale, Jr. and Walter Mosley, Director Corey Grant and more, for a star-studded event. The cast dished about memorable moments behind the scenes while filming the movie, in an exciting Q&A hosted by VH1 Access Hollywood Live host, Nina Parker, immediately following the screening.
Guests may have noticed the film’s third leading lady, Amber Rose, was not in attendance. We’ve all seen the photos of Rose kissing her baby Sebastian good night. Well, her baby boy stole the night by waking up! Sources say Mommy Rose chose the responsible role of staying home with Baby Bash, over attending the private screening of her new movie.
Although Rose wasn’t in attendance, her co-star Eva Marcille looked elegantly stunning and the gorgeous Drew Sidora managed to stay away from the cameras for some obvious reasons (hint, hint). It’s all in the film! Sister Code will be released in all AMC Theaters next Friday, May 8th.
About Sister Code
Sister Code is the funny and touching story of three foster sisters with drastically different personalities, living together in Los Angeles. Amber Rose plays Lexi, the free-spirited artist; Eva Marcille is Sheila, the corporate killer with a soft side, and Drew Sidora works her magic as Lavae, the glue that keeps the family together. With the revered matriarch of the family gone, the James girls must learn to navigate the choppy waters of love, life and sisterhood without her. And when a tragic sisterly secret is revealed, they must learn to dig deep, put their differences aside, and tap into that never-ending bond instilled in them by their beloved foster mother. Through it all, the three sisters will grow closer, love harder, and ultimately prove that mama James was right all along – blood may be thicker than water, but love is thicker than everything.
