The AHF Youth Task Force continues to educate students as the KYST college tour promotes sexual health awareness and STD prevention
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 21, 2017) – The Know Your Status Tour kicked into high gear for the Atlanta, GA Clark Atlanta University activation. The tour was created to help spread awareness about safe sex and always being knowledgeable of your status. With expected notable panelists such as Amber Rose, Don Benjamin, E! Tv’s Sibley and Karen Civil, when the doors opened over 1,000 students lined up attempting to fill a capacity auditorium after one hour of doors opening. Clark Atlanta students rushed to the stage once they heard the voice of Think it’s A Game recording artist YFN Lucci. The “Keys To The Streets” billboard charting artist ignited a flame of excitement while performing for the standing room only crowd. KYST founder, Chris Grace announced the star studded panel, greeting and introducing Karen Civil, as this city’s moderator.
The panel included, Amber Rose, Jacquees, Don Benjamin, Cordell Broadus, Sibley, and sex expert Shannon Boodram. All of the panelists engaged the eager students as they answered tough questions and shared some stories about personal experiences; which inspired them to be a part of the tour. Amber Rose, cut straight to the point, sharing about her personal experiences as did Cordell and others. The students were very vocal about their occurrences and what they feared most when having sex.
KYST founder Chris Grace received a proclamation to the City of Atlanta for his honorable service in developing awareness around such a needed conversation. The next stop on the Know Your Status Tour will be, TEXAS SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY, April 26, 2017.
Special thank you to the AIDS Healthcare Foundation for making this tour possible.
