H-Town’s next Shining Star preps upcoming LP “The Introduction”

HOUSTON, TX (April 04, 2017) – RnB, Pop, Hip-Hop and Funk newcomer, Imani, is changing the game with a fresh take on a hybrid genre of music that appeals to the masses. The recent graduate from Sam Houston State University reps the South to the fullest in her brand new single “Get Litty,” an addicting, funk-filled anthem for the ladies to get ready to before they step out and slay.

“Get Litty,” produced by Isaac “Chill” Yowman, is Imani’s first dope offering from her upcoming debut LP appropriately titled “The Introduction,” slated to drop this spring. The Houston native effortlessly showcases her bold and soulful vocals in a genius delivery well beyond her young years. Imani brings a refreshing excitement to the industry with her new project that will reach young and old music lovers alike with a creative mix of RnB, Hip-Hop, Pop, Reggaeton and Country.

“These days we want to be so numb to everything, but I want to put that emotion back in the music, that Earth, Wind & Fire, so we can live in the moment. Everything on this project is going to make you want to get up and dance and feel good about life,” says the Houston beauty. “I’m determined to bring live instrumentation back to the music, to fulfill what we once had and get away from the artificial sound. I want to bring intelligence back to people listening and get us to level back up.”
